For Sale: 1969 Plymouth Road Runner in Sarasota, Florida

Vehicle Description

1969 Plymouth Road Runner HEMI 4-Speed - Galen's Registry Documented, 1-of-1 Factory Configuration

Few American muscle cars command the respect and admiration of the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner HEMI 4-Speed. Powered by Chrysler's legendary 426 HEMI V8, backed by an A833 4-speed manual transmission, and equipped with the desirable Super Track Pak featuring a Dana 60 Sure-Grip rear axle with 4.10 gears, this Road Runner represents the pinnacle of Mopar performance during the golden age of muscle cars.

Finished in its correct Ivy Green Metallic (F8) over a Black vinyl interior, this extraordinary Road Runner has been the recipient of a meticulous rotisserie restoration performed by Michael's Auto Restoration in Winter Haven, Florida. The body was acid-dipped before being professionally refinished, while every component was restored or rebuilt to collector-quality standards. The result is a show-quality example that performs every bit as impressively as it presents.

Originally delivered by Mark Motors Inc. in Arlington Heights, Illinois on March 17, 1969, this Road Runner is extensively documented and recognized by Galen's Registry as Car #17 of 48 and, even more impressively, the only example built in this exact factory configuration-making it a true 1-of-1. It is also one of only 194 HEMI-powered post coupes equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission produced for the 1969 model year, placing it among the rarest and most desirable Road Runners ever built.

Accompanying the car are a copy of the original window sticker, Galen's Registry Report, and title showing actual mileage, providing the documentation serious collectors demand. Showing approximately 85,000 original miles, with only about 500 miles added since restoration, this Road Runner is equally at home on the concours field, in a premier collection, or on the open road.
