The engine is a modern, aluminum 4.6 litre, 4 valve per cylinder Ford unit with fuel injection and a 4WR70 automatic transmission connected to a custom driveshaft leading to a modern Ford 8.8 Ford rear end with 3.73 gears and a limited slip diff. Gears are selected through TCI shifter.
