1971 Chevrolet K10 - Single Cab Long Bed - 350ci V8/Automatic
The 1971 Chevrolet K10 is one of the most recognizable and
desirable four-wheel-drive pickups of the classic truck era.
Combining rugged capability with timeless styling, this single cab
long bed has the classic look that enthusiasts love while featuring
tasteful upgrades that make it an enjoyable truck both on and off
the road. Finished in a sharp light blue, the truck presents well
and is complemented by a matching light blue Rhino Liner bed that
adds both durability and a clean, finished appearance.
Giving the truck an aggressive stance are 5-spoke steel wheels
wrapped in Interco mud-terrain tires with deep, aggressive tread,
making this K10 equally at home cruising down Main Street or
exploring trails. Overall, the paint shows nicely, though we do
want to be transparent that there are a handful of cosmetic
imperfections, as shown in the photos. The owner chose not to have
the truck professionally detailed prior to listing it, and we
believe a quality paint correction and full detail would
significantly enhance its overall presentation.
Under the hood is a nicely built Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine
featuring Edelbrock aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock aluminum
intake manifold, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, and a mild
performance camshaft. The combination delivers strong, reliable
power along with the unmistakable sound of a healthy small-block
Chevrolet. Backing the engine is an automatic transmission with a
column-mounted shifter, while the factory floor-shifted
four-wheel-drive transfer case and manually locking front hubs
provide true off-road capability when the pavement ends.
The interior features a clean blue cloth bench seat that
complements the exterior color nicely. The original dashboard and
factory gauges remain in place, preserving the truck's classic
appearance, while a Kenwood head unit provides modern audio for
your favorite music on the road. The underbody is exceptionally
solid, rust free, and shows the truck has been well cared for
throughout its life.
Mechanically, this K10 is equipped with power steering and power
brakes, making it easy and enjoyable to drive. Nearly everything on
the truck is functioning properly. The only known issues are that
the headlights and gauge illumination are currently inoperative and
will require attention. Aside from those items, the truck runs and
drives very well.
Whether you're looking for a classic 4x4 to enjoy on weekend
cruises, take to local truck shows, or venture off the beaten path,
