Melanson Motors is proud to offer this stunning, restored, 1968
Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. This VW looks stunning in 1974 Brilliant
Orange Paint over a White and Black interior. The car was repainted
just a few years ago and the seats were recovered. A strong running
original 1500cc rear mounted engine is mated to an Automatic
Stickshift 3 speed transmission. This unique transmission uses a
vacuum operated dry clutch and torque converted to shift gears when
the gear shift lever is moved into a selected gear. The car does
this on its own without the use of a clutch pedal. It is a very
cool and unique driving experience. This Ghia has VDO analog gauges
set in a wood grain dashboard. The interior is gorgeous and
features an upgraded Pioneer radio deck with upgraded speakers. The
convertible top is manual operation and is in great shape! A nice
black boot cover is included for a clean look when the top is down.
Magnaflow stainless steel mufflers and quad exhaust tips are
installed. This convertible rides on 15" original style wheels with
chrome VW center caps. The tires are Cooper Sportsman and are in
good condition. This is a nicely restored, excellent driving,
tastefully upgraded Karmann Ghia! Do not miss this opportunity! For
