The build took over two years to complete, and the result is an FJ40 that delivers serious off-road capability without giving up on-road manners - it tracks straight and true and will comfortably exceed 80 MPH on the highway.
Power comes from a 383 stroker V8 with Howell fuel injection, paired with an NV4500 5-speed manual transmission with a crawler first gear and an Atlas transfer case. ARB lockers with onboard air, a full custom suspension with Bilstein shocks, and 37 Mickey Thompson tires on Hutchinson beadlock wheels make this Land Cruiser ready for the toughest terrain. The build includes an extensive list of custom fabrication - custom axles, a full exoskeleton and roll cage, and an 18-gallon fuel tank among them - all finished in a Quality Beige repaint with ceramic coating over a fully powder-coated frame.Odometer shows just over 1,800 miles since the build.
