The Porsche Boxster/Type 986 was the first car since the 914
originally designed to be a roadster. The Boxster had nearly a
thirty year run with final production ending in 2025 along with the
Cayman. Originally the Boxster/Cayman were built in the shuttered
928 Facility and later would move to the Karmann plant. The first
generation Boxster and the 911/996 would share quite a bit of
styling and interior components which would cause a stir amongst
the 911 buyers who paid quite a bit more for what look liked the
same car from the front. These Boxsters are incredible handling
cars and a blast to drive. This particular car has had just two
owners from new with the original owner owning the car for over 26
years! This is also a low mileage example with excellent care,
service and storage. The paint looks excellent as does the interior
and everything else. Everything is in working order with no known
needs at this time. This car truly shows and drives like a sub
30,000 mile car. We encourage any questions and inpsections here in
our Traverse City location.
