1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu - Unbelievable example of an un-molested and time capsule condition 70 Chevelle with a great history and a plethora of documentation to prove it! TRUE 1-family (2-owner) car since new which never left the state of California until a few months ago and still holds a current California title and plates. Mr Melvin Carb purchased this car brand new from Allen Gwynn Chevroelt in Glendale, CA with an array of special option choices. He cherished this car for nearly 2 decades until he left it to his son Todd, who continued to care for it until 2022. There are 5 chronological document folders FULL of every single maintenance record, dealer invoice and repair for every dollar spent from 1970-2022. Also included is the original window sticker, bill of sale, protecto-plate and dealer license plate frame. Car runs very well, still powered by it's original numbers-matching small block V8 and TH350 automatic transmission with power steering and power disc brakes. Exterior has received one repaint in the original color of "Autumn Gold" with a new tan vinyl top which was installed at the same time. All original chrome and trim still show great along with the dealer installed body molding. All original tinted glass shows excellent and rolls up/down with ease. Factory optioned 15" Rally Wheels wrapped in BFG white letter radials really complete that vintage muscle stance and style. Interior remains mostly original and contrasts beautifully in the factory Saddle Tan tones throughout. Plush vinyl bench seat with matching door panels and full color matched loop carpet along with accessory seatbelts and an upgraded ComforGrip sport steering wheel (original included). Factory equipped Four-Seasons A/C still blows and operates but is still not quite as ice cold as a modern system. All lights, signals, wipers and gauges work as they should. Original AM/FM radio works well and has been updated with an era-correct stereo system including an equalizer, amplifier and door speakers. Engine bay is nice and tidy, showing appropriate components. Trunk area and underside are super solid, just as one would expect from a lifelong Cali car, including original sheetmetal with factory pinch welds still in-tact. You'll be hard pressed to find a better condition, original bare-bones, running and driving 70 Chevelle anywhere in the country. Everyone knows how popular 70 Chevelle's have been recently and they're on top of every enthusiast's wishlist.
