This beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS has been tastefully
customized while preserving the unmistakable look and spirit of a
first-generation Camaro Rally Sport. Finished in gorgeous Garnet
Red with black hockey-stick stripes, it combines classic RS styling
with modern performance upgrades for a strong, enjoyable drive.
The 1969 Camaro marked the final year of Chevrolet's
first-generation Camaro, a model line introduced to compete in the
growing pony-car market. For 1969, Chevrolet gave the Camaro a more
aggressive appearance with revised sheet metal, a redesigned
grille, updated rear styling, squared-off wheel openings, and a
refreshed interior with new dash details.
The RS, or Rally Sport, was an appearance package rather than a
separate performance model. Its signature feature was the
distinctive hidden-headlight front end, along with special RS trim
and lighting details that set it apart from standard Camaros.
Today, the 1969 Camaro RS remains one of the most recognizable and
