GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this exceptionally
well-sorted 1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer for your consideration.
Finished in classic Eddie Bauer trim and riding on a purposeful
lift with aggressive 35-inch tires, this Bronco perfectly captures
the rugged appeal that has made the final generation Broncos one of
the hottest collectible SUVs on the market. Backed by Ford's
legendary 5.8L Windsor V8 and E4OD automatic transmission, this
Bronco has benefited from an extensive restoration and mechanical
refresh completed within the last several years, making it an
outstanding example for both weekend cruising and off-road
adventures.
Power comes from the dependable 5.8L V8 mated to the E4OD automatic
transmission, with the transmission professionally rebuilt
approximately 500 miles ago. The engine has received an extensive
overhaul including all new engine gaskets, a new oil pump, new
water pump, new timing gears, rebuilt fuel injectors, fresh spark
plugs, ignition wires, distributor rotor, and ceramic-coated shorty
headers. Additional mechanical improvements include new U-joints,
new driveshafts, a complete brake overhaul with new calipers, wheel
cylinders, and braking components, along with a fresh alignment.
Equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, functioning
air conditioning, and working heat, this Bronco is ready to be
enjoyed immediately.
The suspension has been tastefully upgraded with a 4-inch
suspension lift and a 3-inch body lift, providing excellent ground
clearance while maintaining a commanding stance. American Racing
Vintage Outlaw wheels wrapped in 35-inch tires complete the
unmistakable look. Inside, the Eddie Bauer interior remains
comfortable and inviting, highlighted by newly upholstered driver's
seat upholstery. An extensive restoration and fresh repaint
completed approximately 7-8 years ago continue to present
exceptionally well today, while all-new air conditioning components
ensure modern comfort on warm-weather drives.
Included with the sale is the original Ford build sheet, providing
excellent documentation for collectors and enthusiasts alike. The
odometer currently shows 225,000 miles, but the extensive
mechanical investment and thoughtful restoration make this Bronco a
testament to proper long-term ownership rather than mileage
alone.
For full transparency, the included CARFAX report reflects a
salvage auction entry in April 1997. The report also notes that a
salvage title was issued in error and later corrected, with
subsequent title activity showing standard title issuances
beginning later that same year. Since late 1997, no rebuilt or
other branded titles have been issued, and the Bronco has remained
on a clean title through multiple owners and registrations.
Whether you're looking for an iconic full-size SUV to take on
weekend adventures, a highly collectible final-generation Bronco,
or simply a turnkey classic that's already received thousands of
dollars in desirable upgrades and maintenance, this 1996 Ford
Bronco Eddie Bauer is an excellent opportunity. Combining timeless
styling, proven 5.8L V8 power, documented restoration work, and
impressive mechanical upgrades, it stands ready for its next owner
to enjoy for years to come.
