This was Cadillac’s ultra-prestige offering, with a divider window, and long 136 inch wheelbase. Interestingly, the 226 inch total length is only 18 feet 10 inches, so will fit easily in a standard 20 foot deep garage! It’s the type of car that the celebrities and bigshots of the era would use, such as Truman, Eisenhower, and movie stars and the mobsters. It’s big, it’s black, and it has a presence that can’t be ignored!
This car has had excellent care, including full engine and transmission rebuild, brakes, and extensive service since the former owner bought it in 2010. He used it on CCCA Car-a-Vans, both for himself and to loan out to out of town guests. It is freeway capable, stable, runs cool at speed and in traffic, and is a wonderful car to drive and operate.
