a tougher bug, with improvements to its bumpers, steering wheel,
and heads on the engine. Volkswagen was always looking into the
reliability of the bug; with the new and improved head the engine
was able to run cooler and be more fuel efficient. At a clam of 25
average mpg, the bug sipped pints of fuel, not gallons. With fuel
prices on the rise again like the 70's, this bug feels right at
home. Keeping the Super Beetle as close to original as possible, it
has had a repaint of its original Africa Red paint. The rest of the
Super Beetle is believed to be all original. It has been well cared
for throughout its life, and it shows with the underside being just
as clean as the top. The interior is just as clean and all original
making it a time machine right back to 1974. The factory 1.6L
engine is claimed to be numbers matching along with its original 4
speed manual transmission. It fires right up with the turn of the
key and suns super smooth. To stay up with maintenance, it received
a fresh tun-up, and new shocks all the way around. To round
