1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer - Absolutely stunning example for the FINAL YEAR EDITION of America's favorite family wagon with authentic retro styling and a few modern upgrades to help make roadtrips fun again! Super solid Western truck with a clean CarFax history that spent most of it's life in Utah and just enjoyed a nearly 2,000 mile tour of the great NorthEast! This wonderful Woody recently underwent a full mechanical service by the experts at "Wagon Masters" in Texas to the tune of over $12,000 in preparation to be used and enjoyed by previous owner! Original 5.9L-V8 engine which was tuned and upgraded with a Howel Fuel Injection system and the original TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission which was also completely rebuilt. Other updates include a Petronix electronic ignition system, new exhaust, new timing chain and new water pump with all new seals and gaskets from front to back. The brakes system, power steering unit and front end were also completely re-done including all new urethane bushings, stabilizer bars and suspension upgraded with Rancho shocks. Truck runs, drives and handles as good as it looks with no excuses. Exterior appears to be mostly original in the striking "Gray Mist Metallic" and still shows wonderful with plenty of shine from front to back. There is some "patina" sun fading on the roof and top of passenger door which we think just adds a little character. The iconic woodgrain panels show excellent as well as all the glass, roof rack and trim. Chrome bumpers are original and still show well but do have a bit of faded age starting. An accessory trailer hitch has been added but not for overbearing towing purposes, just an occasional bike rack hauler. Original wheels have been restored and wrapped in new whiteline radial tires along with the spare to add that correct 90's styling. Interior contrasts perfectly in the attractive Cordovan Maroon which is near spotless and free of any rips or tears anywhere. Full leather treatment throughout with all the power options and COLD A/C which has been converted to an R-134 system. Absolutely everything equipped in this truck works as it should with the exception of the sunroof switch. A folder of repair receipts and history are included along with the original books/manuals. Underside is rock solid with no signs of any rust or rot issues however there are 2 spots under the driver's side marker light and passenger side front bumper that show slight bubbling. These Wagoneers were the epitome of luxury with "off-road" capabilities back in their 7 year span but lets face it, more saw the summer sands of a private beach access than the rough mud of the country. With prime examples fetching near 6-figures in recent markets, this is the one you've been waiting for and an absolute gem of a find. Here is your chance to get ahead of the curve and behind the wheel before that trend spikes again when today's grown-ups want to re-live their fond family memories with their own kin. Pack the cooler, pick a destination, kick the kids off those tablets and enjoy the ride!
