1972 Dodge Dart Demon - Absolutely killer example of classic Mopar midsize muscle that has been beautifully restored to near factory spec and tastefully optioned! RARE 2-year only Demon option which started all the craze we know today. TRUE "LL29-code" car which is now powered by an upgraded yet date-code correct 340ci-4bbl V8 with a TorqueFlite 727 automatic transmission and SureGrip 3.23 rear. Engine has been appropriately rebuilt with a small cam, electronic ignition system, Offenhauser intake, headers and dual exhaust for a proper growl. Car sounds as mean as it looks and upgraded front disc brake kit helps bring everything to a stop. Exterior has received a complete facelift with a professional color change from the original Gold Poly to a "High-Impact" treatment of the iconic Panther Pink. Paint is stunning from front to back along with correct satin black stripe kit and Demon call-out badges. Front grille assembly has been swapped out to the more ornate 1971 version while the correct snorkel hood, fender mount turn-indicators and dual chrome rally mirrors enhance the styling. A set of correct 14" rally wheels wrapped in authentic Wide Oval radial tread tires help to really complete that vintage street machine stance. All glass shows very well with original pop-out rear windows and tinted windshield. Interior contrasts perfectly in black vinyl tones throughout with factory bucket seats and center console option. The original gauge cluster has been swapped out to the also more attractive 1971 pod-style and a correct TUFF steering wheel adds a touch of brawn. All lights, signals, wipers and heater works but original AM radio does not. Engine bay is VERY detailed as is the trunk with correct mat, jack and spare. Underside is very solid with no signs of any current rust issues and many of the body panels still retain their original factory stampings as well. Although they may not have technically ruled the streets like their big-block brothers, these cars packed alot of punch in a fun-size package. It's hard to find real-deal Demons in today's clone-crazy world and we challenge you to uncover one this nice. Sure a few things have been changed but only for the better and the purist's will agree..... Pink may not be for everyone, but this one is!
