arrived for the 2007 model year, blending trail-ready hardware with
real passenger and cargo room. This 2015 example takes that proven
JK formula somewhere far beyond stock. While the factory Wrangler
relied on V6 power in 2015, this custom build carries a 392ci
6.4-liter Hemi V8 sourced from a one-ton Dodge, making it an
especially uncommon creation that predates Jeep's factory-built
Wrangler 392.
A custom tune extracts more than 500 horsepower, while stainless
steel headers, a full stainless exhaust, an aluminum radiator, and
a five-speed automatic help turn that Hemi muscle into usable
performance. Deep 5.38 gears and a Currie rear locker provide the
mechanical leverage needed to spin massive 40x13.50R17 Mickey
Thompson tires mounted on 17x9 Centerline wheels.
Underneath, a six-inch BDS long-travel suspension system and Fox
shocks give this Wrangler serious articulation and stance. Big disc
brake kits at all four corners bring the stopping power, while a
Grumper steel front bumper, Grumper steel fenders, Atlas rear
bumper with swing tanks, Stinger screen, and Rhino roof rack supply
the armor and utility expected from a purpose-built trail
machine.
Custom Tungsten Gray paint and matching aluminum window frames give
the exterior a cohesive, high-end finish. Inside, black
diamond-stitched bucket seating, a center console, upgraded stereo
with subwoofer, cruise control, power windows, and power locks
provide a surprisingly refined command center. The removable
hardtop keeps the open-air Jeep experience intact when the weather
cooperates.
Reportedly representing more than $100,000 in build investment,
this Wrangler combines Hemi horsepower, hard-core four-wheel-drive
equipment, custom fabrication, and unmistakable road presence. It
is the kind of Jeep that looks ready for the rocks, sounds ready
for the dragstrip, and refuses to disappear into a parking lot.
