GM Ram Jet 350 V8 | TCI 700R4 Overdrive Automatic | Vintage Air |
Power Disc Brakes | Butternut Yellow | Black Vinyl Top
Collectible Motorcar of Atlanta is proud to present this beautiful
1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS Tribute. Finished in desirable
Butternut Yellow with a contrasting black vinyl top, this Nova
captures the understated styling that has made the '66-'67 Chevy II
one of the most desirable compact muscle cars ever built while
benefiting from carefully selected performance and comfort
upgrades.
The body is exceptionally straight with excellent panel alignment
and a smooth finish that complements the soft Butternut Yellow
paint. The black vinyl top appears fresh with tight seams and clean
trim fitment, providing an attractive contrast against the light
exterior. Chrome bumpers, stainless trim, grille, emblems, and
brightwork all present very well and retain a strong shine.
Power comes from a GM Ram Jet 350 crate engine, factory rated at
350 horsepower. The electronic fuel injection provides reliable
cold starts, crisp throttle response, and excellent drivability. It
is paired with a TCI 700R4 four-speed automatic overdrive
transmission, allowing the Nova to comfortably cruise modern
highways while maintaining strong acceleration around town.
Opening the hood reveals a clean, functional engine compartment.
The Ram Jet intake and plenum remain prominently displayed,
complemented by polished aluminum valve covers, Chevrolet bowtie
breather caps, an aluminum radiator, modern air conditioning
compressor, upgraded serpentine accessory drive, and neatly routed
wiring. The firewall and inner fenders remain factory finished,
giving the engine bay a clean appearance without looking
over-restored.
The suspension has been upgraded with power steering, power front
disc brakes, and a front sway bar, giving the lightweight Nova
confident handling and comfortable cruising characteristics. A dual
2-inch exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers delivers the
unmistakable small-block Chevrolet sound without excessive interior
drone.
Inside, the Nova retains its classic muscle-car personality with a
restored SS-style black interior featuring bucket seats, factory
center console, and matching rear bench. The upholstery features
factory-style vertical pleated inserts with bright silver accent
strips running through both the front and rear seating surfaces.
The seats, door panels, dash pad, carpeting, and headliner all
present exceptionally well with very little visible wear. The
original-style steering wheel and updated SS Nova instrument
cluster preserve the factory appearance while an Alpine stereo
provides modern audio capability.
The factory center console houses the automatic shifter,
maintaining the clean original look of the interior. The trunk
compartment is clean and finished with fresh trunk spatter paint
and houses the spare tire.
The Nova rides on 15-inch Chevrolet Rally wheels wrapped in Cavalry
radial tires (195/65R15 front and 215/65R15 rear), giving the car a
period-correct appearance while benefiting from modern radial tire
performance.
The underside presents as clean and solid. The floor pans appear
straight with a protective black coating throughout, while the
exhaust system, suspension, and transmission all appear well
maintained. This is the underside of a car that has been enjoyed
and properly cared for rather than hidden away.
Condition
Based on the provided photographs, this Nova is a very attractive
driver-quality restoration that shows extremely well.
Paint has excellent gloss and presents nicely throughout.
Body panels appear straight with consistent gaps.
Black vinyl top is clean and properly installed.
Chrome and stainless trim show very well.
Interior upholstery is excellent with crisp pleated seat
patterns.
Dashboard, door panels, carpeting, and headliner present
beautifully.
Engine bay is clean, organized, and tastefully upgraded.
Undercarriage appears solid and well maintained.
As expected from a driven classic, there are a few minor cosmetic
signs of use visible under close inspection. The engine compartment
shows some normal age-related patina on the firewall and a few
hardware components, and portions of the underside exhibit typical
wear from regular driving. I do not see any significant rust
concerns, torn upholstery, damaged trim, major paint defects, or
obvious body issues in the photographs provided.
