A single year production automobile is what we are looking at here!
The very first mass produced car with a transparent acrylic roof
panel. Just over 13,000 units were made in 1954 and would combine
jet age styling along with cutting edge technology of the time. The
skyliner would be at the very top trim-level of the Crestline
model. It would also feature a brand new Y Bolck V8 offering up 130
HP out of its 239 Cubic Inch power plant. This particular car is in
very nice driver quality condition with everything in working
order. This Skyliner starts right up, idles nicely and goes down
the road like it should with plenty of power, nice steering and
braking. This engine is original to the car from what we are told
and at some point has had a cosmetic restoration that still shows
nicely. We welcome any questions or inpsections here in our Travese
City location and look forward to speaking to you.
