1946 Ford Super Deluxe The Orange Crate Street Rod
Celebrity Cars is pleased to offer this 1946 Ford Super Deluxe
Fordor Sedan - the legendary Orange Crate. A show-winning, true
fat-fender Ford street rod, it was restored with an authentic 429
cubic inch Ford V8 producing 365 HP, complete with headers, custom
intake manifold, and carbs - the same motor street and drag racers
lust after. It was built to be reliable and easy on gas: a real
street rod and potental daily driver.
It was privately owned by a good customer of Celebrity Cars and it
runs and drives great. The car has been meticulously maintained,
with over $46,000 in service and upgrades since 2011 - including a
rebuilt transmission, power steering, exhaust system, carburetor
and fuel pump, intake manifold with cooling fans, and much more.
Service records and list are shown in the photos. It is a
non-smoking vehicle and has always been garaged.
The vehicle is titled in the state of Nevada as a 2010 ASVE 46FORD.
The odometer shows 21,095 miles since the restoration; true mileage
is unknown (TMU).
