Jeeps are normally very utilitarian and spartan in their quest for
off-road dominance. This example shuns traditional thinking and
asks "why can't you have cold A/C, power steering, 4-wheel power
disc brakes, tilt steering, power windows, and a nice radio in a
Jeep?" The answer - you can, and this one proves it!
This Jeep CJ7 has a clean Carfax showing it spent most of it's life
in California, and a stack of receipts showing the restoration and
build which took place in CA as well. The engine is a rebuilt 258
CID Inline 6-cylinder bored .030 over with HESCO multi-port fuel
injection, a Comp Cams camshaft, and a better radiator to keep it
cool.
That engine is backed by a rebuilt Torqueflite 999 3-speed
automatic transmission. Power is then sent to a Dana 300 transfer
case with twin shift and a 4:1 transfer case upgrade. The front end
is a Currie 9" Ford with ARB air locker, 3.70 gears, and 31 spline
axles with Warn hubs. The rear end is a Currie 9" Ford high-pinion
with Detroit Locker, 3.73 gears, and 31 spline axles.
Let's get to the steering and brakes. You'd hope they'd be beefed
up to match the drivetrain, and they do not disappoint! 4-wheel
disc brakes with hydra boost master cylinder will stop this Jeep on
a dime and and PSC steering gear with heavy duty stabilization make
this Jeep go wherever you point it!
Other things to know about this Jeep include the 4" lift, original
metal body (no reproduction fiberglass here!), 20-gallon fuel tank,
full roll cage, 2022 Jeep A/C, Warn XD9000 winch, and a lot of
extra parts to go with. Those parts include a new fuel pump, extra
ECM, half doors, painted just like the full doors (with storage
bags), tow bar, Jerry can with mount, and potable water can with
mount. Buyer is responsible for shipping these items if the Jeep is
shipped and they won't all fit inside!
