EXTERIOR: Finished in iconic Hugger Orange, this '69 Camaro has the
timeless look everyone loves. The body is laser straight, and all
the panels fit properly. It features a cowl induction hood, front
and rear spoilers, and the desirable exterior trim package with
rain gutters, wheel opening moldings, and quarter louvers. The
paint has been polished to a smooth, high gloss finish with no
vinyl top to interrupt the clean lines. The window moldings have
been buffed, and all of the glass has been replaced. It's also a
highly desirable Rally Sport, complete with hideaway headlights and
the correct relocated reverse lights. The headlight doors were
upgraded with electric motors. The bumpers, emblems, mirrors, and
door handles are all new. It's sitting on 15-inch Rally wheels
wrapped in new BFGoodrich raised white-letter tires, and all the
weatherstrips have been replaced, giving it a fresh, well-finished
appearance.
INTERIOR: The iconic deluxe interior is exactly what you hope to
find in a '69 Camaro, featuring the highly desirable houndstooth
upholstery. The molded deluxe door panels are new, and the seats
have been re-cushioned and reupholstered for a fresh, comfortable
feel. A new dash pad has been installed, while the original
instrument cluster, radio and heater control panel have been
preserved. It has a full set of factory gauges, including the in
dash tachometer and the console mounted auxiliary gauges. The
center console also houses the classic Hurst four-speed shifter.
The original seat belts are still in place, and the fresh carpet
has sound deadener underneath for a quieter ride. Overhead, you'll
find a new headliner with matching sun visors, a working dome
light, and a new rearview mirror. Finishing it off is a new deluxe
steering wheel, giving the interior the authentic muscle car look
everyone loves.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: At the heart of this Camaro is a genuine 1969
427 big-block, giving it the kind of power and presence enthusiasts
are looking for. It's equipped with rectangular port heads, a
polished aluminum intake, a Holley carburetor, an HEI ignition
system, and a set of coated headers. Up front, the engine is
dressed with chrome pulleys, bracket, alternator, and it features
power steering for easy cruising. The power brake system has been
replaced, and an aluminum radiator with a shroud keeps everything
running cool. The engine bay is complete and with new horns, fresh
hood insulation, and an overall appearance.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb, it's
finished in the same Hugger Orange paint as the exterior and fitted
with a fresh weatherstrip. Inside, the trunk is very solid metal
with a spatter finish.
UNDERSIDE: It is clean, solid, and well-maintained, with the
suspension and steering restored and serviced as needed. It
features front disc brakes with rear drums,the e-brake is hooked
up. A new stainless steel exhaust system with Flow FX mufflers
gives it the unmistakable muscle car sound. It has a new polished
fuel tank. Looking up at the engine, you'll see an anodized Milodon
oil pan and a polished high-torque starter. Power is sent through a
Muncie four-speed manual transmission that the previous owner
states was recently rebuilt. Out back is a 12-bolt rear end with
4.11 Positraction gears, also reported by the previous owner to
have been rebuilt. The floors appear to be solid.
