This 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible is a genuine 242-code example
that has been refinished in Sunset Orange Pearl over a restored
Pearl interior with a white power convertible top. The car is
powered by a 455ci V8 equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and
paired with a Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission. Accompanying
PHS documentation confirms its authenticity.
The body is rust-free with excellent panel fit and finish. Exterior
features include a color-matched Endura front bumper, hideaway
headlamps, factory hood tach, rear accessory spoiler, and restored
Rally II wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. Chrome,
stainless trim, and lighting are all presented in excellent
condition. The Endura bumper shows a few minor paint scratches.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Turbo Hydramatic
transmission, while power steering, power front disc brakes, and a
newly restored front suspension and steering system contribute to
confident road manners. Factory exhaust manifolds feed a dual
exhaust system with chrome tips.
The cabin has been restored with Pearl bucket seats, a center
console featuring a custom hand-cut walnut inlay, FACTORY AIR
CONDITIONING and a matching convertible tonneau cover. The white
power convertible top is in excellent condition.
This GTO drives exceptionally well and combines authentic Pontiac
muscle with tasteful upgrades and strong presentation.
