Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1977 Ford F-150 4x4 for
sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The 1977 Ford F-150 belongs to
the sixth generation of the Ford F-Series, produced from 1973
through 1979. Widely celebrated by enthusiasts as the "dentside"
generation, these trucks are known for their rugged design, strong
proportions, and classic Ford truck character. The F-Series also
made history in 1977 when it became America's best-selling truck
line, helping cement the F-150's legacy as a cultural and
commercial powerhouse. This same generation also helped form the
basis for the redesigned 1978 Ford Bronco, which used a shortened
F-Series/F-100-style platform.
Exterior:
The truck is finished in Light Candy Apple Red and shows a few
minor paint blemishes on the lower doors. The seller replaced the
windows, door rubber, and window seals prior to the sale. Exterior
details include a bright grille, tinted rear window, short bed, and
western-style side mirrors. The 15" wheels are mounted with
32x11.50R15 tires, giving this F-150 the proper classic 4x4
stance.
Interior:
The bench seat is finished in red upholstery with new carpet. The
dashboard features air conditioning and heater control levers,
along with an AM/FM radio. The two-spoke steering wheel frames an
85-mph speedometer, ammeter, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant
temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 94k
original miles.
Engine:
Power comes from a 351M V8, part of Ford's 335-series engine
family. The 351M shared design architecture with the Ford 400 and
traces its engineering roots to the 351 Cleveland family, making it
a rugged and torque-focused truck engine. Additional upgrades
include new headers, an Edelbrock intake manifold, four-barrel
carburetor, new gaskets, new fuel pump, new starter, and new
mufflers.
Transmission:
Power is sent through a four-speed manual transmission, giving this
F-150 the classic truck driving experience that buyers still hunt
for.
Drivetrain:
This F-150 is equipped with four-wheel drive, giving it the stance,
capability, and character expected from a proper dentside 4x4.
Wheels and Tires:
The 15" wheels are mounted with 32x11.50R15 tires.
Brakes:
New brakes were added prior to the sale.
Suspension and Steering:
The truck received front-end bushings, tie rods, and shocks prior
to the sale, helping refresh key steering and suspension
components.
Recent Service and Updates:
Recent work includes replacement windows, door rubber, window
seals, new brakes, front-end bushings, tie rods, shocks, new
headers, Edelbrock intake manifold, four-barrel carburetor, new
gaskets, new fuel pump, new starter, and new mufflers.
The Ford will be sold on a clean Arizona title with spare parts.
