Coupe. Powered by its matching-numbers 327 cubic inch L79 V8
producing 350 horsepower, backed by a 4-speed manual transmission,
and benefiting from a meticulous frame-off restoration completed in
2023, this Corvette represents one of the finest examples of the
final and most desirable year of the legendary C2 generation.
Finished in elegant Marlboro Maroon over a beautifully restored
black interior, this Corvette underwent an extensive nut-and-bolt
restoration by Classic Cars of Sarasota and Chris Jr. Every major
component was addressed with an emphasis on quality, authenticity,
and long-term reliability. The body was stripped to bare fiberglass
before being professionally sealed, primed, and finished in
high-quality basecoat/clearcoat paint. The chassis and suspension
components were powder coated, while the engine, transmission, rear
differential, steering, suspension, and electrical systems were
completely rebuilt. Stainless steel fuel lines, new chrome,
polished stainless trim, new rubber seals, fresh carpeting, leather
seat covers, door panels, and headliner complete the
restoration.
While retaining its factory appearance, tasteful upgrades including
Borgeson power steering and Vintage Air conditioning greatly
improve drivability without compromising originality.
As the final year of the iconic C2 Sting Ray, the 1967 Corvette is
widely regarded as the pinnacle of the generation. Only 8,504
coupes were produced, making these cars among the most collectible
American sports cars ever built. Accompanied by its
Protect-O-Plate, original owner's manual, original window sticker,
tank sticker, and car cover, this Corvette offers exceptional
documentation rarely found together.
