EXTERIOR: This one has the look! The '69 Camaro is an icon to begin
with, but this one takes it to another level. It sits low over a
beautiful set of 18-inch forged Rueda wheels, staggered with wider
rears and wrapped in Nitto performance tires, giving it an
aggressive stance that commands attention. The body is
exceptionally straight with excellent panel fit, and the doors open
and close with ease. It's finished in a brilliant Garnet Red that's
been polished to a deep, mirror like gloss. The metal cowl hood and
front and rear spoilers enhance the muscle car attitude, while the
painted stripes are buried beneath the clear coat and are smooth to
the touch. The chrome and stainless trim appear to have all been
restored or replaced, and both the front and rear glass have been
replaced as well. A fresh vinyl top completes the classic look.
Modern upgrades include Detroit Speed electric hideaway headlights
up front and Digi-Tails sequential LED taillights with billet
bezels.
INTERIOR: The deluxe interior is a big highlight that enthusiasts
really love, especially with the iconic houndstooth upholstery. The
seats have been restored with new cushions, upholstery, and
headrests. The molded deluxe door panels have been replaced, along
with the handles, hardware, and trim. New plush carpeting covers
the floor and is complemented by custom sill plates. The factory
style center console has been updated with the correct overdrive
shift indicator, while the headliner and visors have been replaced
and features a working LED dome light. One of the coolest upgrades
is the InVision programmable digital dash. It can be customized to
display different gauge layouts while maintaining a clean, modern
look. A new deluxe steering wheel sits in front of the driver, and
a RetroSound stereo with Bluetooth, a built in microphone, and 6x9
rear speakers provides modern audio without sacrificing the classic
feel. The car also comes with two sets of keys.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is a stout 383 stroker making
approximately 425hp. It features a healthy camshaft that gives it
an aggressive idle and plenty of power. Feeding the engine is an
Edelbrock aluminum intake topped with a dual-feed Holley carburetor
equipped with premium fuel lines and an electric choke. Ignition is
handled by an MSD system with a billet distributor, while a set of
coated headers helps the engine breathe. The front of the engine is
dressed with billet brackets and pulleys, along with a polished
alternator and power steering pump for a clean, detailed
appearance. It also features an Edelbrock fuel pump and stays cool
thanks to an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. A modern
air conditioning system has been added and blows cold for
comfortable cruising. Braking is assisted by a Wilwood master
cylinder, and because of the aggressive camshaft, an external
vacuum pump ensures plenty of vacuum for consistent power brake
performance. The engine bay is finished off with billet hood hinges
and polished fender supports. For those wanting an even cleaner
custom appearance, a set of matching red filler panels is included
to further dress the engine compartment.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The attention to detail continues in the trunk.
The underside of the deck lid and the jamb are finished to the same
smooth, glossy standard as the exterior. The weatherstrip has been
replaced, along with the trunk latch, and even the factory trunk
light is functional. Inside, the trunk is neatly finished with a
fitted carpeted mat. For those who enjoy great sound, it also
houses a pair of custom subwoofer enclosures and an amplifier.
UNDERSIDE: It is equipped with the kind of components you'd expect
in a Pro-Touring build. Up front, the RideTech suspension system
features tubular control arms, coilover adjustable gas shocks, and
a heavy duty sway bar. The steering system has also been rebuilt,
contributing to a precise and confident driving experience. Out
back is a RideTech four link suspension with tubular control arms,
coilover adjustable gas shocks, and a splined sway bar for improved
handling and stability. Wilwood performance brakes with drilled and
slotted disc rotors are found at all four corners. A custom fuel
tank was neatly installed. The custom exhaust system features an
X-pipe and MagnaFlow stainless mufflers for both performance and a
great sound. Looking up at the drivetrain, you'll find a clean
engine, a high torque starter, a 700R4 overdrive automatic
transmission, a custom driveshaft, and a Quick Performance 9-inch
rear end with 3.50 posi gears. The floors have been sprayed in
undercoat.
