She’s a Raven Black, 1955 Ford Thunderbird Roadster with a completely redone hardtop. Take a look at Ford’s answer to the Corvette and the first year of the Thunderbird. Lots of power options ordered with this one. The grandfather purchased this classic in the early 80's and after 40 years of ownership he sold it to his granddaughter in 2020. She has had lots of work completed on it since including 12V upgrade but unfortunately it is now time to part with her.
This one features the Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission which equates to a little more horsepower and higher compression than the manual transmission. The infamous 292 Y-Block V8 with dual exhaust and she drives very smooth. It does have electronic ignition with the PerTronix system and their Flame Thrower II coil as well. Power steering and power brakes with American Racing wheels and nice white wall radials for cruising. More than $5k invested in the hardtop alone with paint, headliner, rear glass, brightwork and all new seals. Pictures to follow shortly as they finish up the final details.
The interior is the sweet black with white combination and is in great condition. That’s coupled with power seat and power window options and all the glass is perfect. It fires right up when cold and the engine runs very smooth with no smoking or issues needed to address.
