GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1930 Ford Model A
Station Wagon Woody for your consideration. Finished with a
stunning wood exterior over a clean Black interior, this rare Woody
Wagon is an exceptional example of one of Ford's most desirable
early utility vehicles. Powering this Model A is the dependable 201
cubic inch L-head inline 4-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed
manual transmission and a 3.78 rear gear, providing an authentic
driving experience true to its era. One of just 3,510 examples
built, this Woody Wagon underwent a full chassis restoration in
2011, while the beautifully crafted wood body was sourced from
Pleasantville Body Works of New York. Originally used at a resort
in Delaware until after World War II, this Ford also features a
professionally installed LeBaron Bonney interior, an upgraded
12-volt electrical system, halogen headlight bulbs, fresh oil
change, fresh grease, and all fluids recently checked. Having
earned several local car show awards, this Model A is ready to be
enjoyed or proudly displayed at your next event. Drive this one out
of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere
in the United States! Don't hesitate to call us with any questions
or for more information.
The Ford Model A was introduced for the 1928 model year as the
long-awaited successor to the legendary Model T and remained in
production through 1931. Featuring improved styling, increased
power, modernized controls, and a more refined driving experience,
the Model A helped usher Ford into a new era of automotive
production. Among the rarest and most collectible body styles was
the Woody Wagon, which featured handcrafted wooden body
construction and was commonly used by resorts, estates, and
businesses to transport guests and cargo. Today, these beautifully
crafted wagons are highly sought after for their rarity,
craftsmanship, and timeless vintage appeal.
