This 1993 Dodge Dakota SLT is a rust-free truck with only 48,256
miles. The original owner lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. When he
passed, his son who is the current owner's neighbor drove the truck
home from Nevada and then this owner purchased it. The
Flame Red exterior has had a professional high-quality repaint.
Owner has photos documenting the entire process, including the
removal of the bed from the frame so the chassis could be cleaned,
detailed, and refinished. The truck is exceptionally clean
underneath and has no rust. The dependable 3.9L Magnum V6
starts easily, runs great, and drives as it should. There are no
fluid leaks, and all of the glass is in excellent
condition. The SLT features include AC, cruise control,
tilt steering wheel, AM/FM stereo, intermittent wipers, center
armrest, cup holders, sliding rear window, color-matched camper
shell, and an aluminum ladder rack that will easily carry a 4'x 8'
sheet of plywood. Recent maintenance includes water pump
replacement, new bypass hose behind the water pump, new serpentine
belt, new upper and lower radiator hoses, new heater hoses, new
battery, new tires, new shocks, new suspension bushings, and new
windshield wipers. The interior is original and it is in
excellent condition. The dash has no cracks, the seat is in
excellent shape, and the carpet was professionally removed and
cleaned. The only imperfection on the interior is a couple of small
cigarette burns on the center tunnel carpet and they are from the
original owner. This is an original, low-mileage Dakota
that has been maintained rather than modified. It is hard to find
these trucks in this good condition, especially one that has always
been rust-free. Most Dakotas were used and abused as work trucks,
and many were in the north and in the rust belt. Photos of
the repaint and chassis work are available for serious inquiries.
This 1993 Dodge Dakota is in Louisiana and is available for viewing
by appointment only.
