This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Restomod is powered by a GM
Performance ZZ 502ci/502hp Crate Engine mated to a TCI
Streetfighter TH350 Automatic transmission, backed by a Currie 9in
Rear axle spinning 3.73 Posi gears.
This car was finished in Tuxedo Black with white center stripes
during the restoration (2024-2026). Exterior details include an SS
cowl hood with hood pins as well as a split black SS grille, quad
headlights, and SS fender badging.
The interior has also been completely redone and features
adjustable front bucket seats and a rear bench all trimmed in black
vinyl upholstery that are accompanied by matching door panels and
black carpeting. A three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a
tilting column and frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an
analog clock, and supplementary gauges that show like new. The
five-digit odometer shows 8k miles, approximately 5k of which were
added on the new drivetrain components. A Vintage Air heat and A/C
system along with a Custom Autosound digital stereo have been
installed during refurbishment. Other features include a Hurst
shifter, center console, and shoulder belts!
Popping the hood you will find a very well detailed engine
compartment. The 502hp 502 is topped with Aluminum heads and intake
manifold along with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, high flowing
water pump, HEI distributor, and ceramic coated headers that feed
Dual Stainless Steel Flowmaster Exhaust System with X-pipe and
Mufflers.
Underneath the car is clean, rust free, and trimmed in a satin
black finish. This car has a laundry list of recent additions such
as control arms, shocks, bushings, bearings, lines, hoses, fuel
tank, and more underneath. Riding on 15 Super Sport wheels wrapped
in 225/60 Front and 295/70 Rear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
Included with the Chevelle is owners manuals, restoration
receipts.
