for outstanding performance and reliability. It also features power
steering and power brakes, making it as enjoyable to drive as it is
to admire. An aluminum water pump and radiator with dual electric
fans keeps it running cool. It looks and performs great!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The inner bed walls are straight and smooth, and
custom extra wide wheel tubs have been installed to accommodate the
massive rear tires. Everything is painted to the same deep, glossy
finish as the exterior. The wood bed floor has been replaced with
stained dark wood, accented by polished stainless steel strips. A
flush mounted fuel filler has been neatly relocated into the bed,
adding both convenience and a clean custom touch.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the frame during the
restoration, allowing the underside to be detailed to the same high
standard as the rest of the truck. The metal floors and chassis are
smooth, clean, and exceptionally well finished. The front steering
and suspension still look brand new and have been upgraded with
tubular control arms and lowering springs for improved handling and
stance. In back, the suspension has been completely rebuilt with
fresh bushings, lowering springs, and new shocks. Stopping power
comes from four wheel disc brakes. It features a custom dual
exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and a relocated custom aluminum
fuel tank. Looking up at the engine, you'll find an aluminum oil
pan and a high torque starter. A Tremec 6-speed manual transmission
using a hydraulic clutch sends power through a custom aluminum
driveshaft to a durable 12-bolt rear end.
