We are pleased to offer this 1959 Porsche 356A Cabriolet
(Reutter-built) a car we know well from local car shows and events.
This example benefits from an older repaint and interior re-trim in
green leather. A stunning combination. Mechanically the car runs
and drives well and has a new set of tires. The 356 is accompanied
by its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, confirming original
production details the aforementioned factory hardtop and
documentation.
This example also benefits from a factory hardtop, a desirable and
valuable accessory that significantly enhances usability and
aesthetics.
The car received a driver-quality restoration in 2009 under prior
ownership. Since completion, it has been shown locally at concours
and PCA events, reflecting both pride of ownership and consistent
care. Today, it presents as a very usable, honest driver with minor
cosmetic flaws consistent with enjoyment rather than
over-restoration.
The car is currently finished in a non-original but highly
attractive Ivory exterior paired with a beautiful green leather
interior, a classic and elegant color combination that suits the
356's lines exceptionally well. While not factory-correct in color,
the presentation is cohesive, tasteful, and widely appealing.
A beautiful driver quality example ideal to use for local shows,
weekend drives or tours and rally. At this price, opportunities
like are increasingly difficult to find.
