Super clean C4 with a 6-speed manual transmission. Great color
combination. 70,354 miles. Clean CarFax. Everything works. Runs and
drives great. A fantastic LT1 C4 that still offers enough
performance to put a smile on your face! The C4 Corvettes are
finally coming into their own. For cars with this much performance,
it was impossible for them to stay in the bargain bin forever, and
collectors are now realizing that the good ones are worth
preserving. This 1993 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is one of the good
ones. It comes out of long-term ownership and remains 100% stock
and unmodified, which is how you want to buy your late-model C4. It
also offers an awesome color combination and styling that has aged
rather well--the C4 remains a great-looking car. Bright Aqua is a
tough color to photograph, so we had to do some tweaking to get it
right, but rest assured this car is wearing original paint and it
is definitely Bright Aqua. Panel fit is excellent, as these late
production C4s were well-built cars, and even the massive clamshell
hood closes with a gentle push instead of a heavy slam. There are
no major nicks or scratches and certainly no damage to the
fiberglass, so it presents quite well. Even the weather seals are
in great condition. The only noteworthy demerit is a small crack in
the removable clear blue plastic top, but it is not structural and
does not leak. It s not even visible in photos. Otherwise, this is
a first-rate Corvette that looks fantastic. The white leather
interior is an awesome choice with the Bright Aqua paint, and
sources suggest it s one of the less common combinations available
in 1993. The leather seating surfaces are still in very good
condition, with only the usual wear on the outer bolsters of the
driver s seat. The multi-adjustable seats are still extremely
comfortable for both spirited driving and long-distance hauls, and
the rest of the driver s compartment is excellent. The gauges are
all operational, the A/C blows ice cold, the windows zip up and
down, and the AM/FM/CD stereo still sounds pretty good. There are
no warning lights on the instrument panel, and yes, that s a
6-speed manual transmission there in the middle. The tool for the
lift-off roof is still in the center console, and the top stows
neatly in the rear compartment. And speaking of the rear
compartment, it s easy to access through the glass hatch and
provides plenty of room for a few overnight bags on a road trip. The
350 cubic inch LT1 V8 needs no introduction. With 300 horsepower
and 340 lb-ft. of torque on tap, it provides entertaining
performance even in today s world of 700 horsepower Jeeps. It s
also bulletproof reliable and easy to service, with plenty of parts
available virtually anywhere. This one remains completely stock,
right down to the air cleaner and exhaust system, and has always
been adult-owned, so it works like it should. There are plenty of
signs of conscientious maintenance over the years, and it just
works right. Easy starts, smooth idle, and plenty of power from
idle to redline. The LT1 is really a great choice for all-around
fun. Add the 6-speed manual with two overdrive gears, and the
Corvette becomes an incredible high-speed touring car. By 1993, the
suspension was competent without being overly firm and Corvettes
were always renowned for their powerful brakes, and this car is no
exception. The undercarriage is tidy, although not detailed for
show, and with no modifications, you know it lived an easy life. It
sounds great, rides right, and sitting on those gorgeous A-Mold
wheels and staggered 275/40/17 front and 285/40/17 rear performance
radials, it has the perfect stance.Clean C4s are getting harder to
find, especially given that they were so easy to modify. With a
beautiful color combination, excellent maintenance, and the
desirable 6-speed manual, this 1993 Corvette is a fantastic choice
for anyone who wants to get into the Corvette hobby without feeling
like they bought the consolation prize. This car is a ton of fun
and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. Find out why everyone
