1967 GMC K15 Custom 4x4 Show Truck
This 1967 GMC K15 is a one-of-a-kind, hand-built and hand-painted show truck with a documented history spanning decades. The same longtime owner has completed two major rebuilds, displayed the truck at monster-truck events, and earned multiple first-place trophies at car shows. It has been carefully preserved, exceptionally well maintained, and kept out of the rain.
Power comes from a 383 stroker V8 producing approximately 420 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission and part-time four-wheel drive. The highly detailed engine compartment carries the truck’s red-and-black theme with polished accessories, braided lines, an aluminum radiator, chrome hood hardware, and a painted power-brake booster.
Custom exterior features include deep black paint, a raised cowl hood, chrome grille, heavy-duty front bumper, polished wheels with all-terrain tires, wide diamond-plate running boards with marker lights, oversized West Coast-style mirrors, roof-mounted air horns and amber lights, a pop-up sunroof, twin polished exhaust stacks, and a custom aluminum flatbed with a red finished deck and expanded-metal headache rack.
The show-quality undercarriage is equally impressive, featuring a lifted stance, red suspension components and shocks, polished differential covers, and carefully finished drivetrain details. Inside, the truck has plush red-and-black bucket seating, matching carpet and door panels, a handcrafted wood center console with cupholders, custom gauges and tachometer, a floor shifter, and a custom stereo. The original steering wheel and steering column remain in place. A photographic display documents the truck’s transformation through the years.
