1954 Willys Aero Lark two-door sedan with more modern fuel injected
power. Chevrolet 4.3L V6 throttle body fuel-injected engine
producing 220 horsepower, paired with an automatic 4L60E overdrive
transmission. Featuring an aluminum radiator and Edelbrock intake
manifold. Enhancements include, front disc brakes adapted using
Honda and Trans Am components, and Mustang II front suspension with
a power steering rack. It has been driven just over 6,600 miles
since the restoration. The exterior retains its classic two-tone
green paint and chrome trim, maintaining a vintage aesthetic with
minor touchups. Riding on color matched painted steel wheels with
chrome Willys center caps and radial tires. The interior preserves
much of the original design, including seats, door panels, and
headliner, supplemented by a Marshall aftermarket gauge upgrade for
improved functionality. The radio is inop. The rear features a
solid 8-inch rear axle with 320 rear gears and air shocks. The
exhaust system exits just ahead of the rear wheels on the passenger
side with polished tips. On the road, a refined feel and very
smooth running engine, noticably more power than originally
equipped, and a pleasant highway cruiser.
