Car was in very good original condition with very little rust when I bought it. After driving it for a while, I decided that I'd like to make the car nearly as perfect as I could. I did a full rotisserie restoration, going over the items that are usually compromised on Amphicars such as the fins, battery tray, etc... I replaced items that get weathered and aged such as trim, water seals, transmission bellows, convertible roof, windshield seal, chrome trim, light lenses and bumpers that were slightly pitted... The car still has the original interior that is in very good condition. I wanted to save it. The window "fuzzies" were also replaced. I put 4 new tires on the car. The car runs and drives excellent.
