Sales Description
This C7 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is far more than a striking
black-on-black sports car. It is a professionally built,
forged-engine, supercharged performance machine that combines
serious power with the refinement, comfort and reliability expected
from a modern Corvette.
The build was completed by Vengeance Racing with the goal of
creating a Corvette capable of performing flawlessly whenever
called upon while retaining the street manners and dependability of
the factory platform. Rather than simply adding boost to a stock
engine, this Grand Sport received a carefully selected combination
of proven components designed to support substantial power.
At the center of the build is an East Coast Supercharging NOVI 1500
centrifugal supercharger system. The LT1 was strengthened with a
Vengeance Racing drop-in forged piston and connecting rod package
and upgraded with a Vengeance Racing Stage III camshaft kit.
Additional engine-bay upgrades include Vengeance Racing
raised-letter valve covers, a Mighty Mouse Solutions "Wild"
catch-can system, a large electronic throttle body and custom
supercharger plumbing.
The engine compartment also features a custom-painted intake
manifold cover with detailed skeletal-style artwork, giving the
build a distinctive presentation that matches its performance. An
upgraded aluminum radiator and high-performance electric fan and
shroud assembly help manage temperatures during street use and hard
driving.
The fuel system was upgraded to support the supercharged
combination with a GM LT4 high-pressure fuel pump, LT4 injectors
and a DSX Tuning auxiliary fuel pump. A Vengeance Racing Flex Fuel
kit allows the car to take advantage of ethanol-blended fuel when
properly tuned, further enhancing the versatility of the
package.
Exhaust flow is handled by Kooks 2-inch long-tube headers feeding a
3-inch X-pipe. The system exits through four black Corsa
Performance exhaust tips, producing the aggressive tone expected
from a cammed and supercharged LT1.
Power is delivered through the Corvette's 8-speed automatic
transmission, which received a Pure Transmission build or upgrade
in August 2023. A Circle D Specialties triple-disc torque converter
complements the camshaft and supercharger combination, helping the
drivetrain put the engine's power to effective use.
No horsepower figure is being represented without supporting dyno
documentation, but the caliber of the components makes it clear
that this is not a typical bolt-on Corvette. It is a purpose-built
street and performance package assembled with premium hardware from
some of the most respected names in the Corvette aftermarket.
Visually, the car is equally impressive. Its gloss-black Grand
Sport widebody is enhanced by an extended front splitter, front
canards, aggressive side skirts, rear-quarter aerodynamic
extensions and a large rear spoiler. Black Forgestar multi-spoke
wheels continue the monochromatic theme, while red brake calipers
and slotted rotors add a sharp contrast.
Paint protection film has been installed on the front bumper, front
fenders, hood and removable targa top to help protect the most
vulnerable surfaces from rock chips and road debris. The Corvette
was also fully paint corrected and ceramic coated by Glasslife
Atlanta, giving the black finish exceptional depth and gloss while
making it easier to maintain.
Inside, the Grand Sport retains the comfort and convenience
expected from a modern Corvette. The cabin includes a custom
carbon-fiber and perforated-leather steering wheel with a red
center stripe, carbon-fiber trim, red seat belts, supportive sport
seats, factory infotainment and dual-zone climate control. The
factory air-conditioning remains installed and operational.
The underside presents well and highlights the Corvette's aluminum
chassis construction, independent suspension, rear-mounted
transaxle and upgraded exhaust system. The overall build is
cohesive, professionally executed and designed to deliver an
exhilarating driving experience without sacrificing the usability
that makes the C7 platform so desirable.
For the enthusiast seeking a Corvette Grand Sport with forged
internals, serious forced induction, a built drivetrain and
standout presentation, this professionally modified example offers
an exceptional combination of power, beauty and street-friendly
performance.
