'Red Hills Rods & Classics' is very excited to offer you this absolutely gorgeous, all #'s matching 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 327/300hp 4-speed car, finished in its factory correct Elkhart Blue (Code 980), wrapped around a beautiful Teal Blue vinyl interior (Code 418). It was the recipient of a frame-off, complete nut and bolt restoration in 2018 by HS Customs in Logan, Utah, an acclaimed restorer that was the winner of the 2016 SEMA Battle of the Builders. She now sits on our showroom floor here in Saint George, Utah in absolutely gorgeous condition throughout w/ only 410 miles since the frame-off restoration.
The Elkhart Blue paint is in outstanding condition, and really needs to be seen in person to appreciate how gorgeous the color is. The paint retains a brilliant shine from front back w/ no scratches, chips, or blemishes, etc., and the black vinyl soft top is in excellent condition . The chrome bumpers, stainless-steel trim, side-exhaust pipes, headlight/taillight housings, and emblems are all in outstanding condition as well. She has a perfect stance, and rolls on correct 15" Corvette bolt-on wheels, wrapped w/ BF Goodrich Silvertown redline radial tires (P205/75/R15). You can walk around this Corvette a dozen times and she looks amazing from every angle. The undercarriage is very nicely finished w/ a satin black painted frame, detailed suspension components, and bare fiberglass floors, which are in excellent condition (see photos).
When you open the driver's door you will find a factory correct Teal Blue vinyl interior that is in absolutely wonderful condition throughout, w/ beautifully painted door jambs, fresh door sill plates, & no signs of wear & tear on the interior whatsoever. Features include: Teal Blue bucket seats, matching blue door panels, painted dash & fresh blue dash pads, new black dash insert w/ original style gauges, correct 3-spoke walnut steering wheel, manual shifter insert w/ ash tray, factory 4-speed shifter w/ chrome knob, correct AM/FM radio, (2) sets of correct blue GM seat belts, and correct blue 80/20 loop carpeting. All of the gauges, including the clock & the AM/FM radio are in good working order. Please look closely at the photos to see how lovely this interior really is.
Pop-open the hood, and nestled inside the nicely detailed engine bay resides the factory original #'s matching 327/300hp motor (suffix code V0406HE & partial VIN 7117573), which is lathered in Chevy Orange paint and topped w/ it's original Holley 3810 4-barrel carburetor. The motor was rebuilt to factory specifications during the restoration. The original motor is linked to the original #'s matching Muncie 4-speed transmission (Muncie stamp # P7D19 and partial VIN 7S117573), which feeds power to the factory original 3.08 rear end (stamped AL 4 12 67). The date codes on the drivetrain all line up perfectly w/ the build date of the car being April 19, 1967 (I19), as shown on the original trim tag. The 327/300hp motor is dated April 6, 1967, the Muncie 4-speed transmission is dated April 19, 1967, and the rear end is dated April 12, 1967. Please see the photos of the various stampings that we have provided. This beautiful Corvette fires up instantly, settling into a nice smooth idle, and she runs & drives beautifully in every way. She is a blast to drive and gets a ton of attention wherever she goes. The Elkhart Blue paint literally explodes in the sunlight and combined w/ Teal Blue interior, let's just say that it's a striking color combination that will always get noticed.
