This exciting offering was obtained straight out of the original
owners garage to us. The original owner was an engineer. Those of
you familiar with engineer personalities know this car has been
well cared for and respected. .The car is original paint sans the
front hood where paint meter reads 6.0 mils. Review the
undercarriage pictures ,this is how we received the car ,dry,
clean,and void of oil leaks.
The original owner passed a couple years ago so it has been in
static posture .We immediately took the car to a Porsche specialist
for fresh oil change ,leak down ,and a complete mechanical
overview. The leak down test came back excellent with all cylinders
in the 1-2% leakage. One axle boot was split so we replaced both
axles.
The dash is void of cracks and warpage ,it is the original dash,
not capped .The leather is in excellent condition ,soft supple and
not cracked. The headliner is still as new ,carpets are excellent
as are door cards .Gauges are all crisp, clean, and operate as
designed. Wheels are in good condition.
The run and drive equal the crisp nice cosmetics, everything
operates and runs correct as it did in 1988.
This is truly an outlier in todays offerings. Review the 105
