For Sale: 1990 Ford Bronco in San Jose, California

Vehicle Description

Up for sell is a lifelong California 1990 Ford Bronco XLT. This truck features the highly desirable 5.8L (351 Windsor) V8 engine and has been built out as a comfortable, road-ready custom driver. Frame and structural components are entirely solid and rust-free, making this an exceptional candidate for an enthusiast looking for a strong California foundation.

THE HIGHLIGHTS & UPGRADES:

Engine & Drivetrain: Only 49,528 miles on a rebuilt 5.8L engine. Automatic transmission was rebuilt approximately 10,000 miles ago.
Brake System: Brand new rear drum brakes just completed. Truck stops straight and confidently. New Rear ABS (RABS) sensor installed.
Electrical Upgrades: High-output alternator installed paired with a professional "Big 3" wiring upgrade—heavily prepared for high-end audio or accessories.
A/C & Climate: The entire air conditioning system was recently fully replaced. Blows ice-cold, perfectly sorted for summer.
Premium Custom Interior: Fully refreshed upholstery and brand new carpeting. All metal panels have been completely lined with Dynamat insulation for vastly improved cabin acoustics and heat reduction. Seat heater wiring harnesses are pre-run to the seats for easy future hookup.
Technology: Modern touchscreen head unit integrated seamlessly with a functional Backup Camera and Dash Cam.
California Compliance: This truck regularly and reliably passes strict California Smog testing with zero issues. Clean title in hand.

THE "AS-IS" PROJECT AREAS (Transparent Disclosure):

This is a robust, running classic driver, but it has some minor cosmetic and typical 90s Ford electrical needs, priced accordingly:

Exterior Body: The truck has lived a true California life; the body would benefit from fresh paint, and the roof has moderate surface rust. The windshield is cracked and will need replacement. The rear swing-out spare tire is missing (the factory metal carrier rack is fully intact).
Dashboard & Gauges: The fuel gauge and water temperature meters are non-functional (likely needs an Instrument Cluster Voltage Regulator replacement behind the dash). I currently track fuel perfectly using the tripometer (approx. 320 miles per tank). The ABS dash light remains triggered following the sensor swap. The passenger seat recline catch needs adjustment (leans back easily).
Tailgate Windows: The rear glass operates flawlessly using the key switch at the tailgate, but does not currently activate via the front dashboard toggle switch. Rear window defrost is non-functional.
Minor Fluid Seepage: There is a typical minor valve cover oil leak and a minor transmission leak. Note: I am including the brand new replacement gaskets and transmission filter kit directly with the sale for the next owner.

TRMS OF SALE:

Vehicle is sold strictly AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranties expressed or implied. Buyer is completely responsible for all transportation arrangements, flatbed shipping costs, or vehicle pick-up.
