2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 For SaleThis 2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is a
factory-original example from the final year of Ford's
SN-95-generation retro tribute, sold new by Liberty Ford Southwest
and carrying just 13,900 miles across two owners. Finished in Azure
Blue Clearcoat over a Dark Charcoal leather interior, the car
retains its original Ford window sticker, which documents its build
as order code 145A, Premium Mach 1 V8.Power comes from the 4.6L
4-valve DOHC V8, the Mach 1's signature engine derived from the
aluminum-block Cobra powerplant of the late 1990s rather than the
cast-iron block used in the contemporary 2003-04 SVT Cobra. Ford
rated the combination at 305 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque,
run through a 5-speed manual transmission to a 3.55-geared
Traction-Lok rear axle. The functional "shaker" hood scoop feeds
the engine directly through the hood, a detail carried over from
the original 1969-1970 Mach 1 and one of the clearest links between
this car and the model it pays tribute to. Dual exhaust with bright
tips rounds out the drivetrain.Chassis hardware includes power
four-wheel disc brakes with ABS and traction control, variable-rate
rear suspension, and power rack-and-pinion steering, riding on
17-inch Heritage alloy wheels wrapped in P245/45ZR17 tires. Inside,
the Dark Charcoal leather sport seats use the Mach 1's "comfort
weave" trim pattern, paired with a nostalgic-style instrument
cluster, leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel, speed control, and a
Mach-branded 6-disc CD stereo. Power windows and locks, dual vanity
mirrors, remote keyless entry, and SecuriLock round out the
equipment list.2004 marked both the last year of the SN-95 Mustang
platform before the 2005 redesign and the Mustang's 40th
anniversary, and Ford brought the Mach 1 back for only two model
years, 2003 and 2004, as a modern homage to the original. Just
7,182 were built for 2004. With low, consistent two-owner mileage
and factory documentation on hand, this car represents a
well-preserved example of a short-run tribute model that's become
increasingly sought after as SN-95 Mustangs age into classic
status.NFI Empire specializes in classic, exotic, modified, and
