2008 Corvette Convertible
The 2008 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible was part of the
sixth-generation Corvette, commonly known as the C6. For the 2008
model year, Chevrolet gave Corvette an important performance and
refinement update, highlighted by the introduction of the 6.2-liter
LS3 V8 engine. The convertible preserved the classic Corvette
formula: a two-seat, rear-wheel-drive American sports car with
open-air touring capability, sharp handling, and strong V8
performance.
The 2008 Corvette Convertible carried the low, wide stance and
long-hood proportions associated with the Corvette name. It
featured exposed headlamps, a short rear deck, and a folding soft
top that allowed the car to shift from a closed grand-touring
