Classic Car Addict is proud to present this one-owner, Arizona-only
2008 Chevrolet TrailBlazer SS for sale in our Mesa, Arizona
showroom. The TrailBlazer SS was introduced for the 2006 model year
and brought true Super Sport performance to Chevrolet's midsize SUV
lineup. The Super Sport badge was first introduced with the 1961
Chevrolet Impala SS, and the TrailBlazer SS marked the first time
Chevrolet applied the SS name to a production SUV. Production for
the 2008 TrailBlazer SS is reported at 5,744 units.
Exterior:
The body is finished in Silverstone Metallic paint. Exterior
details include a sunroof, tinted windows, split tailgate, receiver
hitch, and SS-specific styling that gives the TrailBlazer a more
aggressive appearance than the standard model. Polished 20"
aluminum wheels are mounted with Michelin 255/50R20 tires with 2017
DOT date codes. Please see the additional photos showing wear on
the wheels.
Interior:
The seating surfaces are trimmed in black leather with microsuede
inserts, and embroidered SS emblems accent the backrests of the
heated and power-adjustable front seats. Amenities include
dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control,
power-adjustable pedals, driver-side memory settings, navigation,
and a DVD-based rear entertainment system. The leather-wrapped
multifunction steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer,
tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, voltage, coolant
temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 162k
miles.
Engine:
Power comes from a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 that produced 390 horsepower
and 400 lb-ft of torque when new. Shared in architecture with
Chevrolet performance cars of the era, the LS2 gave the TrailBlazer
SS serious muscle and helped make it one of the standout
performance SUVs of the 2000s.
Transmission:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic
transmission.
Drivetrain:
This TrailBlazer SS is equipped with rear-wheel drive and a
limited-slip differential, helping put the LS2's power to the
pavement.
Wheels and Tires:
Polished 20" aluminum wheels are mounted with Michelin 255/50R20
tires with 2017 DOT date codes. Please see the additional photos
for noted wear on the wheels.
Brakes:
Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock
braking.
Suspension:
The TrailBlazer SS was equipped with a performance-focused
suspension setup that helped separate it from the standard
TrailBlazer and gave it a more planted, athletic feel.
Vehicle History:
This is a one-owner, Arizona-only vehicle. A minor accident was
reported to Carfax in 2019.
The TrailBlazer SS will be sold on a clean Arizona title. Please
