The first generation Mustang was manufactured from 1964-1/2 thru
1973 and is one of the most influential American cars ever built.
The Mustang created the 'pony car' segment and its timeless styling
with a long hood and short rear deck continues to inspire modern
classics to this day.
White Exterior with Red Vinyl-
This 1965 Mustang has had a nice partial restoration and is a great
driver.
The coupe's body received a total respray that is in overall good
condition, as is all chrome and stainless. White was a popular
color for the early Mustangs and looks great when paired with a red
interior. A set of period-correct Magnum 500 style wheels are an
ideal exterior accent. The interior has also been partially
restored. The dash, carpet and door cards all present very well..
Features include a classic 3-spoke wheel, analog gauge package and
aftermarket AM/FM stereo system.
302ci Windsor Power-
This Mustang coupe was a originally equipped with a 289 cid V8 and
it is now powered by a 302cid featuring an aluminum intake, Holley
performance carburetor, aluminum radiator with flex fan and tube
headers. Power is delivered via a 3-speed transmission to a stock
differential. The chassis is equipped with manual steering, manual
disc/drum brakes, new fuel tank and custom dual exhaust system with
Flowmaster mufflers. There has also been service done to suspension
components and the owner has furnished receipts.
This '65 Mustang coupe is not a trailer queen, but rather a solid,
classic driver.
