The 1932 Ford is an iconic classic car. From movie appearances to
songs being written about them, it is clear to see they hold a
special place in many hearts! This 32 roadster is a super clean
example with a great color scheme, V8 power, comfortable interior,
and even a top!
This is a BeBop fiberglass body on a boxed and reinforced frame by
Gordon Stanley. Nestled in that stout frame is a roller cam Ford
302 V8 paired with an AOD automatic transmission. An aluminum
driveshaft connects the transmission to a Ford 8" rear end with a
4-link rear. The engine is mildly built with Mallory breakerless
ignition, Holley 650 4-barrel carb, 1.72 roller rockers, and a mild
cam.
The body is painted a gorgeous deep black with red pinstriping.
That pinstripe ties in perfectly with the interior and wheels to
really bring this beautiful street rod to life! The top is black
cloth and the wheels are classic steel wheels with center caps and
beauty rings. Radial tires look great and provide a much improved
ride quality over bias ply. The engine is covered with a Rotlieb
steel hood, sides, and radiator cover for a buttoned up look, or
you can remove those if that's not your style. But it's always nice
to have the option!
The interior is a red and black vinyl and cloth mixture with subtle
custom touches. A Lokar shifter, bench seat, tilt steering column,
and classic looking TPI Tech gauges in a billet bezel look
fantastic and provide great functionality.
A 4" drop front axle and 2" chop give this 32 the classic street
rod look everyone is after! It also has a Speedway windshield and
front disc brakes to finish it off. What a car!
