Melanson Motors is proud to offer this 1930 Ford Model A Coupe.
This is an amazing and unique Hot Rod build with all the right
upgrades! A Hot Rod you can comfortably drive and enjoy which
features reliable fuel injection, air conditioning, Bluetooth
stereo, cruise control, power steering, power disc brakes, and four
corner coilover suspension. Every piece of this car was built right
and with attention to detail. This Hot Rod started with a Henry
Ford steel body. The roof opening was filled with a metal panel and
the body was dropped on a custom square tube chassis which is 12"
longer than the original. The fenders are Westcott high quality
fiberglass reproduction. The panel fit is excellent with good and
consistent gaps. The Black paint is a base/clear with a dark green
metallic flake that really sparkles in the sun. The paint is 30
years old and shows some small blemishes, but is overall in really
great condition. The bumpers and headlight buckets are restored
originals in excellent condition. The headlights have been upgraded
to Halogen.
This car has a super unique and super cool V12 engine with dual FI
Tech throttle body fuel injection. The engine is a 1996 6.0L V12
from an XJ12 that was professionally rebuilt by the famous Victor
Dsouza of San Antonio Texas (invoices for over $10,000 in engine
build). The engine runs on a self tuning FI Tech fuel injection
computer. There are no Jaguar Bosch electronics anywhere on the
car! The engine features an aluminum radiator with electric fan and
a Vibrant Performance 3" mandrel bent stainless exhaust with
catalytic converter, resonator and muffler. The transmission is a
TH400 3 speed automatic. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 3.50
gears. The rear suspension is a 5-link suspension with coil
springs. This hot rod has front power disc brakes and stops on a
dime. The undercarriage is nicely detailed and painted black.
The dark green interior is stunning! It is all custom and very
comfortable. The bucket seats and door panels are real cow hide
leather. The headliner matches and has an overhead console with map
light. The interior features a beautiful hand made wooden dashboard
with Classic Instruments gauges, a Flaming River tilt steering
column with self cancelling turn signals, a variable speed electric
wiper motor, air conditioning and heater controls, and a very tidy
custom stereo. The stereo features rear mounted 8" Kicker
subwoofers, mid range door speakers, and tweeters in the front roof
corners. The Polk Audio radio deck features AM/FM, Bluetooth,
Sirius Radio and USB capability.
The car rides on staggered 16" and 17" wire wheels. The tires are
brand new in 2026 and are Firestone all season radials.
This Hot Rod is the talk of every car show and gas station it
visits. Here is an opportunity to own a great driving, well built
Hot Rod that stands out from the others!
