1967 Corvette Coupe
The 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe was the final fixed-roof version
of the second-generation Corvette, commonly known as the C2 or
"mid-year" Corvette. Although many expected an all-new Corvette for
1967, Chevrolet delayed the next-generation C3 while engineers
refined its aerodynamics. As a result, the 1967 model became the
last, and to many enthusiasts, the most polished expression of the
C2 Sting Ray design.
Performance played a defining role in the 1967 Corvette's
reputation. Buyers could choose from small-block 327-cubic-inch V8
engines or several 427-cubic-inch big-block V8 options. This
beautiful matching-numbers 327 V8 produces 300 hp and is paired
with an automatic transmission, optional telescopic steering wheel,
power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes. These features enhance
