The third generation El Camino began production in 1968 and
continued through 1972. Bowtie folks consider these models to be
the 'Best of Breed' when it comes to looks and performance.
Well Maintained Great Driver-
This '72 El Camino has been in the possession of the current owner
for over 25 years and has had a partial restoration. It has been
well maintained and is a solid example of a 'driver quality' El
Camino. The two-stage Antique White respray is in very good
condition and is accented by nice chrome, a raised hood with black
stripes, SS-logos and 14" Chevelle rally wheels that mount
BFGoodrich radial T/A tires. The pickup bed has also been protected
with a sprayed-in liner. A distinctive black vinyl interior shows
well - bench seat, dash, door cards and headliner are in overall
good condition (carpet worn in spots). The windshield is tinted and
all window glass is also in good condition.
350 Small Block with Turbo-HydraMatic-
The El Camino is powered by a 350ci small-block. Fitted with a
Rochester 4-barrel carburetor, this engine is backed by a 3-speed
Turbo-HydraMatic transmission. Chassis features include power
steering, power disc/drum brakes and dual exhaust.
If you are looking for an El Camino that has not been modified and
is a great driver, come look at this nice '72.
