1969 Chevrolet Chevelle - Beautiful example of the 1 year only and redesigned model that has been lovingly cared for by the same family since purchased new! Passed down from the original owner to brother to son, who then had it tastefully restored to re-live it's glory days. Original V8 car now powered by an updated 350ci GM crate motor which has been beefed up just a touch with a small cam, Edelbrock aluminum intake, 4bbl carb, HEI ignition setup and custom stainless dual exhaust system. Power is put to the pavement through a rebuilt TH-350 automatic transmission and upgraded 12-bolt rear with 3.31 gears making it a wonderful cruiser along with power steering and power front disc brakes. Car really looks the part on a set of correct 15" GM rally wheels wrapped in BFG white letter radial tires. Exterior is laser straight and has been re-finished in the trim-tag correct "Butternut Yellow" with painted SS style stripes and added cowl hood for a more aggressive appearance. New bumpers, chrome and trim show excellent as does all the glass. Interior contrasts beautifully with black vinyl tones throughout. Appropriately re-upholstered bucket seats with center console and staple floor shifter. Factory tilt column with an accessory RoseWood steering wheel adds a sophisticated style while Rally gauges and auxiliary gauges mounted under the dash help keep an eye on vitals. An updated RetroSound AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo system has also been added for your listening pleasure. All lights, gauges and wipers work as they should. This was a factory A/C car but not all components were re-installed, therefore it does not currently work. Under the hood is nicely detailed and the underside is extremely clean with no signs of any current rust or rot issues.
