1957 Chevrolet 3100 short box stepside pickup. 350 cubic inch small
block V8 engine paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic 350 automatic
transmission shifted on the floor. Chrome and brightwork elements
such as the front bumper, grille, and headlight bezels. Blue paint
shows some signs of age. Edelbrock aluminum valvecovers, nicely
painted engine, newer alternator and open element air cleaner. This
truck is an original California build from LA, featuring blue cloth
and vinyl interior with a floor shifter and functioning seat belts.
The headliner is vinyl with a diamond pattern stitched in and the
door panels are a combo of polished metal and carpet that matches
the floor. The bed is wood. Additional accessories include a cover,
fire extinguisher, and bottle jack. An aftermarket stereo has been
installed and is operational, the blower motor, brake hoses and
tires are showing their age. Minor steering slack is noted.
Equipped with power steering, a Grant GT steering wheel,
aftermarket gauges and an electric pusher fan under the hood. Some
gauges are erratic. Comfortable cloth vinyl bench seat in great
shape. Note some brake sensitivity and minor steering play. On the
road fun to drive, throaty exhaust rumble, easy steering and
