Few automobiles are as iconic as the Jaguar E-Type, and this beautifully restored 1973 Series III Roadster represents one of the finest examples available today. Showing just 45,421 original miles, this left-hand-drive Open Two-Seater has benefited from a meticulous five-year restoration completed in March 2026, while retaining its original character and documentation.
Powered by Jaguar’s legendary 5.3-liter V12 engine, this E-Type now features a highly desirable 5-speed manual transmission conversion in place of the factory automatic, providing a significantly more engaging driving experience. The V12 was professionally refreshed by the nationally respected TT Engines of Southern Illinois, including a mild performance camshaft, polished intake components, and electronic ignition, with fewer than 5,000 miles driven since completion.
The restoration was carried out by the renowned GC Performance Classics, with much of the mechanical work completed by Jaguar specialist Gail Carpenter, whose decades of experience include serving as crew chief for vintage Jaguars competing in the Mille Miglia.
