This stunning 1946 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup, offered through Vail's
Classic Cars on consignment, is a true timeless gem. Finished in a
gorgeous two-tone maroon?a rich dark metallic maroon for the
fenders and running boards and a lighter metallic maroon for the
body and bed. Powering it is a 400 cubic inch small-block Chevy V8
paired with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission and a B&M
shifter. The rear end comes from a 1970s C10, while the original
front suspension and steering components remain intact. The
steering column, a tilt wheel from a late '80s Camaro, adds a
modern comfort touch. Inside, you'll find a dark maroon interior
with a wood dash and a full wood bed, complemented by a polished
maroon dash. After a frame-off restoration from 1991 to 1993, by
the current owner's father-in-law, the truck was purchased in 2004
and lovingly preserved ever since. In preparation for sale, within
the last month, the battery, front and rear drum brakes, wheel
cylinders, hoses, and master cylinder were all recently replaced.
It also features power steering, power brakes, and a fresh brake
and fuel system. This is a rare chance to own a storied classic
with both beauty and modern amenities. Now available at Vail's
Classic Cars!
