"The German automaker's flagship sports car for more than six
decades, the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class has an international reputation
among driving enthusiasts and collectors thanks to its high-end
blend of technology, speed, and style." Cargurus.com
This one family owned 1994 Mercedes Benz SL500 was originally
purchased in Connecticut with a European delivery in Munich
Germany. Featured in a Black Pearl Metallic exterior with a
Parchment leather interior. Power for this SL500 is provided by the
5.0-liter 32-valve V8 with multiport fuel injection and is paired
with a 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission.
The engine is factory rated at 315 horsepower and 347 lb.-ft of
torque with an electronically limited top speed of 155mph. The
total retail price of this Mercedes was 89,550.00.
1994 was the last year of the "closed deck" engine block design for
Mercedes Benz and many enthusiast and mechanics view the pre-1995
versions of the M119 5.0-liter V8 to be the pinnacle of over
engineered German craftmanship.
Fully serviced including new Continental tires and only 88,527
miles on the odometer this SL500 is ready for the next steward of
ownership.
The Black Pearl Metallic paint and Parchment leather interior both
show minimal wear. The black cloth soft top is in exceptionally
good condition with a new headliner and works as intended. Although
this Mercedes is optioned with air conditioning it is currently not
blowing cold.
The legendary 5.0-liter motor runs effortlessly and cruises
smoothly through the gear range.
